The largest organized military force in Veteris, the Pază militia is over 200 strong and under the command of the charismatic young Marshal, Burke d’Magnon. True to his own preferences, Burke has trained the militia to be a capable archery unit in addition to being the primary peace keeping force in the capital city. While their main duty is to act as Pază’s police force, they can also take the field in the city’s defense if need be.

Members of the militia are issued a scale mail tunic, helmet, and gauntlets that leave their fingers free to operate a longbow. They are armed with maces and shields for use in peace keeping and tall longbows for use in war.
